Review of Progress
Annual Review of Progress
The Annual Report is an official report on a student's research progress. Students will be given feedback on their progress, ie a copy of the report with the decisions, comments and resulting recommendations.
For information on the Annual Progress Reporting procedure and schedule for this year please see http://www.research.mq.edu.au/students/current_students/annual_reports.
Departmental Progress Review
Departmental progress reviews are conducted at the same time as the Annual Review and for the same reasons. In addition, each Department in ELS has other requirements. Some Departments also hold a "6 Month Review" (for example, the Graduate School of the Environment, and the Department of Physical Geography). Others hold annual seminars and detailed interviews that lead into the formal Annual Review (eg. Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences).
Show Cause
Failure to submit an Annual Report on time will result in the student having to show cause and scholarship holders may have their award terminated.
